Pattaya's Elephant Village and Mongchang Cafe are one of the main attractions for tourists. Here they can interact with the majestic Elephants and participate in many more activities. The Elephant Village - a nonprofit organization, has established itself as a safe haven and sanctuary for former working Elephants. The Elephants are taken care of by the fees and donations paid by the visitors. The Village offers a variety of activities like Elephant shows,  Elephant Bathing, Elephant trekking, Jungle Safari, etc. 

The village attempts to give the tourist a glimpse of the daily life of these animals, to observe their behavior. This village also shelters ill elephants that are no longer able to serve and take care of them.
