A visit to Thailand is incomplete without an excursion to Ayutthaya city. A city that holds various attractions, rich history, and interesting facts about Thai culture. Grab your friends and pay a visit to this sacred city of Ayutthaya on this biking tour. Ayutthaya is a Thai city located around 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. From 1350 to 1767, it was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a thriving international commercial port. The remains of the old city have been turned into the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site including palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues. The park is located on an island between three rivers.

How to reach: You can grab a taxi or cab and head towards the location. It will take around 43 minutes to reach the destination from the city center.

Itinerary:

• After visiting the location, the first stop is at Pom Phet or “Diamond Fortress”,  one of the sixteen fortresses along the city walls of Ayutthaya.
• Then, continue the Ayutthaya bicycle adventure, cycle through local neighborhoods, and pass the so-called “Roti Road”.
• Cycle through the quiet Somdet Phra Srinakarinda Park to Chedi Phra Si Suriyothai, a memorial for the first heroine in Thai history.
• Ride along the river and observe the daily life of the local people on the river banks.
• Stop at a Muslim community where they make handicraft woven wind mobiles from palm leaves in the shape of a carp, “Pla Tapian Bai Lan”.
• Explore the world-renowned Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991. 
• See the ruins of the old temples and stop at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the most important temple of Ayutthaya.
• The next stop will be at Wat Mahathat, best known for its photogenic Buddha’s head entwined within the roots of a tree.
• Head towards the “Chao Phrom Market” and walk with our bicycle over the market. 

Note: During the trip, we make regular stops for

• sightseeing and to provide you with drinking water/soft drinks and a Thai snack.
• The guests are requested to wait at the hotel lobby and get prepared at least 1 hour before the tour timing.

• Children of 12 years or older are welcome to join all tours and are charged as adults.
• Children of age between 6-11 years will receive a 25% discount!
• Children from 0-5 will receive a 50% discount.
• For families with children younger than 12 years following rules are implied: 
  • A maximum of 1 child, between 0-5 per guardian.
  • Children between 0-5 years or with a maximum weight of 22 kg can join the tour on a special child safety seat on the bicycle of the guardian.
  • Older or heavier children should be able to ride a children's bicycle.
  • Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the behaviors and well-being of their children during the excursions.

Note: 

• A minimum of two people are required for this tour but if there is a confirmed tour already then the tourists can book 1 PAX without a surcharge.
• Private transfer to the starting point is available for an extra charge. In case of a maximum of three people they can book a Car/Limo, and for a group maximum of 8 people, they can opt for a minivan.
• The guests are requested to wait at the hotel lobby and get prepared at least 1 hour before the tour timing.

Cancellation Policy:

• No Cancellation fee will be charged in case the guests cancel before 72 hours of departure.
• Canceling 48 - 24 hrs before departure will be charged 50% of the fees.
• 100% cancellation will be charged in case of No Show or cancelation under 24 hrs.
