The Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary works toward the goal of making visitors aware of the cruel use of elephants in tourism and encouraging visitors to take better care of these gentle giants. This sanctuary serves as a safe haven for retired elephants to give them a better life! The elephants live here peacefully, and people can visit them and observe them in a natural habitat doing what elephants do! 

The sanctuary believes in treating the elephants with respect and focusing on making their life stress-free. Therefore, visitors are allowed to walk with elephants and feed them. Activities like bathing elephants and riding them or forcing the elephants to perform any activity they do not wish to is strictly not allowed. At this peaceful sanctuary, you will get to spend some quality time with elephants and enjoy their unique company!

Itinerary

• You will be picked up from the Silver Cliff Resort.
• Reach the Khao Sok Elephant Sanctuary and meet the lovely elephants.
• Feed these adorable elephants some bananas and greet them.
• Learn about the cruel history of elephant tourism through a very educative video during the tour.
• Prepare food for the elephants.
• Take photos while enjoying a peaceful walk with these magnificent creatures and learn about their history and diet, etc.
• Go back to the visitor center to feed the elephant the food that you had lovingly prepared for them,
• Bid your goodbye before you will be transferred back to Silver Cliff Resort.

• Children between the age of 3 - 8 years will be charged according to the child rate.
• Children of age 2 and below will not be charged for this tour.
• Anyone of age 9 and above will be charged according to the adult rate.

• Please keep in mind that the elephants will not be forced to do anything that they do not wish to do!
• The timing of the tour is up to the visitors to decide anywhere between the opening hours of the Sanctuary.

• Tour insurance is provided to all the guests for the duration of their stay at the resort

Cancellation Policy

• 50% of the tour price will be charged if the booking is canceled 2 weeks in advance.
• 100% of the price will be refunded if the booking has been canceled at least 1 month in advance.
