    National Palace (Istana Negara)

    The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia.The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara which was located at a different compound in central Kuala Lumpur.Present king is the 16th king of Malaysia.

    National Monument, the world’s tallest bronze freestanding sculpture that honors the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960.

    Sultan Abdul Samad Building

    is a late-nineteenth century building located in front of the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square). The building originally housed the offices of the British colonial administration, and was known simply as Government Offices in its early years. In 1974 it was renamed after Sultan Abdul Samad, the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time when construction began. He is the first  Sultan who visited Kuala Lumpur.
