Explore Ayutthaya’s famous temples on a sunset tour from Bangkok with Wat Mahathat, Wat Chaiwatthanaram and a scenic river boat ride.

Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, known for its large chedi and reclining Buddha, before exploring Wat Mahathat, where the famous Buddha head rests among tree roots.

Later, board a traditional boat for a scenic ride along Ayutthaya’s waterways around sunset. Finish the sightseeing portion at Wat Chaiwatthanaram, one of the city’s most recognizable riverside temples, before returning to Bangkok in the evening.

Wat Mahathat

Sunset River Boat Ride
Board a traditional local boat and enjoy a scenic ride along Ayutthaya’s waterways in the late afternoon.

Wat Chaiwatthanaram
Visit one of Ayutthaya’s most impressive riverside temples, especially atmospheric in the late afternoon and early evening.

Return to Bangkok
Depart Ayutthaya in the evening and return to Bangkok. Arrival time may vary depending on traffic.

How to Reach the Meeting Point:

• By BTS Skytrain (Recommended): Take the Silom Line to Saphan Taksin Station (S6).
• The Exit: You must go to Exit Number 2 to meet the group.
• By Taxi / Grab / Bolt: Set your destination to "BTS Saphan Taksin".
• By Public Boat: Take the Chao Phraya Express Boat (Orange Line) to Sathorn Pier (Central Pier). The BTS exit is right at the pier entrance.

Dress Code

As this tour visits Buddhist temples, please dress respectfully.

• Shoulders and knees should be covered
• Avoid sleeveless tops, crop tops and short shorts
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
• A light scarf or cover-up can be useful if needed

Temple staff may refuse entry to visitors who do not follow the dress requirements.
