  • Namgyal Monastery was established in the 16th century by the Second Dalai Lama, Gendun Gyatso, and was later expanded by the Third Dalai Lama, Sonam Gyatso.
  • It holds significant importance as it serves as the personal monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism.
• Kalachakra Temple:
