Itinerary

• We’ll pick you up directly from your hotel in Bangkok to start your day with an expert guide, offering an insider’s perspective on the city’s rich history, famous landmarks, and unique culture.
• Wat Suthat: Our journey begins with Wat Suthat, a significant temple known as the home of the Brahmin priests who conduct royal ceremonies. Here, you'll encounter the Giant Swing, a towering red frame that symbolizes Bangkok and is often featured in tourism imagery. This swing was once the centerpiece of an annual ceremony in which young men attempted to reach a sack of gold tied 75 feet in the air. Due to many fatalities, the ceremony was discontinued in the 1930s, but the swing remains an iconic symbol.
• Wat SaketNext, we’ll visit Wat Saket, also known as the Golden Mount or Phu Khao Thong. This temple, dating back to the Ayutthaya period (1350-1767 AD), sits atop a low hill crowned with a gleaming gold chedi. Ascend nearly 300 steps to the top, where you’ll be greeted by a wall of bells and breathtaking views of Bangkok’s historic cityscape.
• Wat Ratchanatdaram Woravihara (Loha Prasat): Our third stop is Wat Ratchanatdaram, popularly known as Loha Prasat or the Metal Castle. Unique in its design, this temple has 37 black metal spires representing the 37 virtues essential for enlightenment. It’s the only one of its kind in the world, as similar metal castles previously built in India and Sri Lanka no longer exist. This architectural marvel is currently being considered for UNESCO World Heritage status.
• We’ll also explore Bangkok’s vibrant cultural neighborhoods:
  • Chinatown – Experience bustling streets filled with vibrant street food and rich history.
  • Little India – Discover a fusion of Thai and Indian cultures in this colorful neighborhood.
  • Flower Market – Wander through a fragrant paradise of flowers in Bangkok’s famous market.
• As we travel through the city, you’ll get a glimpse of the Chao Phraya River and some of Bangkok’s famous bridges.
• To conclude the tour, we’ll return you comfortably to your hotel in Bangkok.
