Finally, visit Nakhon Pathom, home to the world’s tallest stupa, and learn about its historical significance from an expert guide.

    • Maeklong Railway Market - Maeklong Railway Market, located in Samut Songkhram about 37 miles west of Bangkok, may look like a typical open-air Asian market at first glance. You’ll find bright piles of tropical fruits like lychee, durian, and mango, along with dried spices, pastes, herbs, fresh seafood, and other local foods. Shoppers weave through the narrow paths, picking up their daily essentials while vendors work under low-hanging awnings and umbrellas. Look closely, and you’ll notice something unique — the entire market sits directly on active train tracks.
    • Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - Only in Thailand can you witness the charm of a true floating market. Enjoy an exhilarating ride on a narrow long-tailed speedboat along peaceful canals, passing traditional Thai houses, vegetable farms, flower farms, and fruit orchards. At Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Thai-style canoes filled with colorful, fresh fruits, vegetables, sweets, and local snacks gently glide through the water. Waterways have always been a vital part of Thai life, and this market beautifully preserves that tradition.
    • Siam Cultural Park - Siam Cultural Park was founded by a group of Buddha image makers with decades of experience in sculpture and molding. Their 40 years of craftsmanship inspired a greater vision — to create realistic wax figures of revered monks and influential individuals respected by Thai people. They also aimed to depict the traditional lifestyles of people from different regions of Thailand. Established in 1997, the park represents their dedication, creativity, and devotion to preserving Thai culture. With support from teachers, mentors, friends, and family, their dream became a cultural space that showcases Thailand’s history, artistry, and unique way of life for future generations.
    • Nakhon Pathom - Centuries ago, Nakhon Pathom was a coastal city on the trade route between China and India. Over time, sediment from the Chao Phraya River pushed the coastline farther out to sea. When the Tha Chin River changed its course, the city lost its main water source and was eventually abandoned as its population moved to Nakhon Chaisi. Later, King Mongkut (Rama IV) ordered the restoration of the crumbling Phra Pathom Chedi, which had been left in the jungle. A new city slowly formed around the restored stupa, bringing life back to Nakhon Pathom. Today, a museum showcases the archaeological history and evolution of this ancient city.
