May Kaidee's cooking school has been around since 1988 and we've proudly hosted thousands of vegetarian and non-vegetarian students since then from over 50 different countries. Even if you are not vegetarian, we encourage you to try our culinary experience and be pleasantly surprised at how fulfilling and informative our classes can be in learning how to make delicious Thai dishes. Our popular Thai cooking class is taught at 9:00 am and afternoon at 2:00 pm daily, welcoming students of all skill levels. Recipes include soups, curries, and stir fry. A great choice if you are new to Thai cooking.

Itinerary

08:00 / 13:00 - Pick up from hotel or meeting point & transfer to May Kaidee Cooking Class

09:00-09:10 / 14:00-14:10 - During this time students get acquainted with the instructor and fellow students. Students are offered fresh fruit such as Papaya, Mango, or Dragonfruit, and a bottle of spring water.

09:10-09:30 / 14:10-14:30 - A lesson on making chili paste is taught before the main lesson. Students are also introduced to a range of native vegetables and fruits, as well as oils and sauces important for Thai cooking. 

09:30-12:00 / 14:30-15:30 - Main Lesson - Cooking 8 recipes

12:00-12:45 / 15:30-16:00 - Students are given a tutorial on making fresh spring rolls and papaya salad. Techniques are taught for the delicate steps to making fresh spring rolls as well as for making Papaya salad, known in Thai as "Som Tom.

12:45-13:00 / 16:00-17:00 / 17:00-18:00 - Students are treated to a demonstration of traditional Thai dancing. Students are encouraged to participate and learn the beginning steps.

Note:

• Drinks ordered at this time cost extra and are not included with the class fee. 
• By default, the afternoon class is the same as the morning, but the class tends to move faster since it is usually smaller. As in our morning class, students spend time becoming acquainted with the instructor and fellow students. Afternoon students also have the option to choose a custom recipe set if desired.

Bangkok Tanao Rd. restaurant and cooking school is located behind the Burger King at the end of Khao San Rd. When facing the Burger King, walk through the alley to the left and look for our green sign immediately to the right.

• Child ticket is only applicable for children 100-140cm (must be between 2-12 years old)
• Children aged 0-2 can join the tour for free provided they do not occupy an additional seat
• Children aged 3-8 would be charged 75% of the tour's rate.

Confirmation:

• You will receive confirmation of your booking's availability within 1 minute of booking time. Most of the bookings are autoconfirmed, we will send you the voucher via email.
  • Auto Pre-Paid Booking:- Any auto pre-paid booking is confirmed automatically when paying us via our payment gateway system.
  • Partial Payment:- All booking with partial payment is nonrefundable and confirmed automatically.
  • Pay later booking:- Any booking where you have selected to pay later is not confirmed unless you update us with your room number and hotel check in- information.
• Our pick-up time and Guide Numbers of tours would be confirmed by our Customer Service Representative before 12 hours of the tour date. (In case of Join Tours,)
• For All Private Tours, all pick-up points are already mentioned in our itinerary.
• If you do not receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder or notify us via email.
• Please send us your room number and local number if you have any to rsvn@sunleisrueworld.com with your booking confirmation number.

• Our tours are available almost every day, in case of any urgency or cancellation we will inform you before 12 hours of tour time. Our Customer Service Representative may suggest you some other day or refund you money immediately.
• This tour is available in the English language only but you can request a Private tour in many different languages Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Please specify your preferred language if you make a private tour booking.

• Please wait at Hotel Lobby 15 minutes before the time specified on this voucher to start.
• Any late from your side may be re-allocated to a later time if available, Otherwise, this will be auto-canceled with a charge of 100%.
• Driver can be late up to 15- 45 Minutes due to Traffic or any unwanted clauses.
• You do not need to show a voucher, just show them a mobile voucher or booking confirmation on mobile for this activity to our Guide.
• Please note the activity time can be affected by several factors including weather, equipment maintenance, or safety protocols.
• Sun Leisure World reserve the right to cancel any booking because of bad weather condition or natural disaster.

Pre-Paid Booking

  • All pre-paid bookings will apply the following cancellation policy:-
    • Before 3 Day of Excursion – No charge of cancellation.
    • Before 2 Day of Excursion Date:- 50% charged applied.
    • Before 1 Day of Excursion Date:- 100% Charged.
  • Activity may be canceled due to any natural problem, in this case, we will offer to shift your booking to another date or you can also apply for a full refund.
• 20% Partial Payment booking:- This amount is Non-Refundable in case of cancellation
