Ride through picturesque Lanna countryside, and pass by scenic villages, lush rice fields, and rubber plantations while immersing yourself in the local way of life. The highlight of this journey is the chance to experience rural Thailand up close, cycling along scenic, peaceful roads in the heart of Chiang Rai. Join us for a memorable and authentic experience through the region’s countryside!

Itinerary

• Pick-up from your hotel, guesthouse, or hostel in Chiang Rai city.
• A covered pick-up truck will transport you to the starting point, about a 15-minute drive outside the city.
• After a short safety briefing and bike fitting, we'll begin our ride through charming villages and green rice fields, following the Lao River downstream.
• Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, cycling past fruit orchards and rural farms, and get a true sense of local life on the outskirts of Chiang Rai.
• After the ride, we'll stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
• The tour ends with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel.

• Child discounts are available for private tours only, based on the child’s age and the total number of adults and children in the group. Children aged 0-11 receive a 25% discount.
• For join-in tours, both children and adults are charged the same rate.

  • Golden Triangle Area: Pickup by D4D minibus from hotels in this area is 1,700 baht (for 1-9 persons, without luggage). Round-trip pickup and drop-off: 1,700 x 2 = 3,400 baht.
  • Phu Chaisai Area and Nearby: Pickup by D4D minibus from hotels in this area is 1,500 baht (for 1-9 persons, without luggage). Round-trip pickup and drop-off: 1,500 x 2 = 3,000 baht.
• There are two times:
  • Morning: 8:30 AM
  • Afternoon: 2 PM
• Distance: Total cycling distance is about 20 - 26 km (Cycling on small roads, roads in villages, unsealed roads, and small hills)
• Fitness Level: Suitable for participants in good fitness condition and families with young children
