Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is happy to introduce a special eco-tourism project that teaches people how to care for elephants and explains our kind treatment of them. Our goal is to spread awareness and educate people worldwide about taking care of elephants. We want to ensure that as many elephants as possible have good health, freedom, and happiness, just like they deserve.

When you choose our half-day package at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, you get to spend an enjoyable time with elephants in their natural home. You'll learn about their history and behavior, and create lasting memories with these incredible animals.

At the Sanctuary, you'll also have the chance to meet the Karen tribe and enjoy breathtaking views of the jungle and mountains. All of this while getting to know friendly, happy elephants in a safe and sustainable environment.

Itinerary

• We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai.
• Enjoy a pleasant 1.5-hour drive south of Chiang Mai, passing through rolling hills, forests, and local farms.
• Arrive at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Take a walk to learn about the elephants and change into traditional Karen clothing.
• Get to know the elephants. You can feed them, interact with them, and play with them in their natural surroundings. Learn about their behavior and history, and take photos with these gentle giants.
• Have a playful mud spa experience with the elephants.
• Walk with the elephants to a river and help bathe them.
• Enjoy a delicious traditional meal.
• Bid farewell to the elephants.
• Leave the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and embark on a 1.5-hour journey back to Chiang Mai.
• We'll drop you off at your hotel or accommodation in Chiang Mai.

• Children above the age of 10 years would be charged according to the adult rates
• Infants between the age of 0-3 will not be charged for entry ticket.
• Children between the age of 4 to 10 years would be charged according to child rate

• We offer a free transfer service to all places of accommodation within a 5km radius of Chiang Mai’s old city. Transport from locations outside this area will incur a surcharge.
• Cost of 2,500 Baht for a round trip, operated both High and Low Season.
• Within a 5 KM Radius from the old city area, if outside of this area there would be an outskirt charge which you will have to inquire about before booking.

Confirmation:

• You will receive confirmation of your booking's availability within 1 minute of booking. Most bookings are auto-confirmed, and we will send you a voucher via email.
• Auto Pre-Paid Booking: Any booking paid through our payment gateway system is automatically confirmed.
• Partial Payment: Bookings with partial payment are non-refundable and automatically confirmed.
• Pay Later Booking: Bookings with the "pay later" option are not confirmed until you provide your room number and hotel check-in information.
• Pick-up time and Guide Numbers for Join Tours will be confirmed by our Customer Service Representative at least 12 hours before the tour date.
• For Private Tours, all pick-up points are already mentioned in our itinerary.
• If you don't receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder or notify us via email.
• Please send us your room number and local contact number with your booking confirmation number to rsvn@sunleisureworld.com.
• Our tours are available almost every day, and we'll inform you of any urgency or cancellations at least 12 hours before the tour. We may suggest an alternative day or provide a refund.
• Please wait in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before the time specified on this voucher to start. Late arrivals may result in rescheduling if available, or an auto-cancellation with a 100% charge.
• The driver may be delayed by 15-45 minutes due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances.
• You don't need to show physical vouchers; displaying the mobile voucher or booking confirmation on your mobile device to our guide is sufficient.
• Please note that activity times may be affected by factors like weather, equipment maintenance, or safety protocols.
• Sun Leisure World reserves the right to cancel any booking due to bad weather conditions or natural disasters.

Pre-Paid Booking

Pre-Paid Booking:

• For all pre-paid bookings, the following cancellation policy applies:
  • Cancellation made before 3 days of the excursion date: No cancellation charge.
  • Cancellation made before 2 days of the excursion date: A 50% charge will be applied.
  • Cancellation made before 1 day of the excursion date: A 100% charge will be applied.
• In the event of activity cancellation due to natural problems, we offer the following options:
• We can reschedule your booking for another date.
• You have the option to apply for a full refund.

20% Partial Payment Booking:

• Please note that a 20% partial payment booking is non-refundable in the case of cancellation.
