This is a perfect tour for those with limited time in Chiang Mai who want to experience both elephant sanctuaries and exciting activities. Start by visiting Mae Malai market, where locals and hill tribes meet to trade fresh produce. Next, enjoy a nature trek to a beautiful waterfall, where you can swim and relax. After lunch, head to a rafting camp for an adventurous 40-minute whitewater rafting experience. Then, visit an elephant sanctuary to feed and take pictures with the elephants. Finally, return to Chiang Mai after a fun-filled day.

Itinerary

• 08:30: Depart from the hotel by van, travelling north of Chiang Mai through scenic countryside and rice fields.
• 09:30: Stop at Mae Malai Market, a vibrant local market where villagers and hill tribes exchange fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and jungle delicacies.
• 10:00: Arrive at the trekking starting point. Enjoy a 1-hour trek through nature to a waterfall, where you can swim and relax. Lunch will be served with delicious local dishes. Afterward, trek back and transfer to the rafting camp.
• 13:30: Embark on an exciting 40-minute whitewater rafting adventure along the Mae Tang River (duration may vary based on water levels).
• 15:00: Visit the elephant sanctuary to feed the elephants with grass, sugarcane, or bananas (seasonal availability) and spend time with these magnificent creatures.
• 16:00: After completing all activities, return to the hotel.

• You will receive confirmation of your booking's availability within 1 minute of booking. Most bookings are auto-confirmed, and a voucher will be sent to your email. If you make a pre-paid booking, it will be confirmed automatically once payment is processed through our payment gateway system. Bookings with partial payments are non-refundable and confirmed automatically. If you choose to pay later, your booking will not be confirmed unless you provide your room number and hotel check-in details.
• For join tours, the pick-up time and guide details will be confirmed by our Customer Service Representative at least 12 hours before the tour date. For private tours, the pick-up points are already mentioned in the itinerary.

• Children aged 0-2 years can join the tour for free as long as they do not occupy an additional seat. Children aged 3-8 years will be charged 75% of the tour rate, and children over 8 years will be considered adults.
• Our tours are available almost every day. If there are any changes or cancellations, we will inform you at least 12 hours before the tour time. Our Customer Service Representative may suggest an alternative date or process an immediate refund.
• This tour is available in English. If you want to book a private tour, we also offer tours in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Please specify your preferred language when making a private tour booking.
• Please wait in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before the specified pick-up time. Late arrivals may be reallocated to a later time if available, otherwise, the booking will be automatically canceled with a 100% charge.
• The driver may be delayed by 15-45 minutes due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
• You do not need to present a printed voucher. A mobile voucher or booking confirmation on your mobile device is sufficient for this activity.
• Please note that the activity time may be affected by factors such as weather, equipment maintenance, or safety protocols.
• Sun Leisure World reserves the right to cancel bookings due to bad weather conditions or natural disasters.
• For Thai nationals, Thailand Pass registration is not required. Travellers can enter Thailand without quarantine or COVID-19 testing upon arrival. They must present a certificate of vaccination or, if unvaccinated, an RT-PCR or Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure.
• For foreign nationals, registration on the Thailand Pass is required. You must attach the following documents: your passport, a certificate of vaccination or RT-PCR/Professional ATK COVID-19 test result issued within 72 hours before departure, and proof of medical treatment coverage (minimum coverage of 10,000 USD). You will receive a Thailand Pass QR Code within 1-2 hours. Airlines and Disease Control Officers will check your documents.
