Join in on a 2 days Secrets of Lamphun cycling adventure, where you will be taken through the enchanting and beautiful province of Lamphun. This an unforgettable cycling excursion where you will ride your cycle through the peaceful country roads and pass by beautiful places, lush green rice fields, stunning temples, fruit orchards, and small villages. This tour will educate you about how culturally rich the first Lanna Kingdom was.

This tour will give a glimpse of the villagers going about their daily lives. This fun-filled tour will make your stay in Chiang Mai exciting and memorable.

Note: This tour starts every Thursday and ends on Friday.

How to reach?

The Recreational Biking Chiang Mai is located south of the old city of Chiang Mai. The cheapest and easiest way to reach the starting point is to book a taxi and directly go to the location.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Reach the starting point Baan Nai Fun 1 in Pa-Dead.
• 09:00 - The tour will begin!
• Go southward following the Ping River, and take your cycle through quiet roads and small villages. 
• Pass by the two beautiful Dvaravati Styled Chedis in Lamphun. These 1000-year-old Chedis are known to be housing the relics of queen Cham-Devi, her horse, and her elephants.
• Visit Haripunchai Museum to learn about the history of this city.
• It's time for a sumptuous Thai lunch!
• The next stop is a local temple where the older women weave silk.
• Visit the most revered temple in northern Thailand Wat Harinpunchai.
• Click nice pictures while posing in front of this beautiful temple.
• Pass by rice fields, and fruit orchards till you reach the resort where you will spend the night. 

Day 2

• 08:30 am: Gather around to start the adventure!
• Leave the resort and cycle through a district, and meet the enthusiastic villagers!
• Go through beautiful paths leading you from one village to the next. You will be able to observe the daily activities of the villagers.
• Discover many chedis and ruins during your ride.
• Visit a sacred temple with the footprints of Lord Buddha.
• Stop by a family atelier known to create porcelain dolls. Check out the unique collection of thousand porcelain dolls.
• After a nice Thai lunch, you will continue this adventure back to the Ping River going Northwards. 
• Reach the Handicraft village Baan Tawai and drink some nice cool refreshments. Take a stroll around the many shops with different kinds of handicrafts.
• The Last stop will be a local market, here you will get to taste some delicious local snacks and fruits.
• Return to the starting point from there you can depart for your hotel.

• Children of 12 years or older are welcome to join all tours and are charged as adults.
• Children of age between 6-11 years will receive a 25% discount!
• Children from 0-5 will receive a 50% discount.
• For families with children younger than 12 years following rules are implied: 
  • A maximum of 1 child, between 0-5 per guardian.
  • Children between 0-5 years or with a maximum weight of 22 kg can join the tour on a special child safety seat on the bicycle of the guardian.
  • Older or heavier children should be able to ride a children's bicycle.
  • Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the behaviors and well-being of their children during the excursions.

Remark:  

• This tour starts every Thursday and ends on Friday.
• A minimum of two people are required for this tour but if there is a confirmed tour already then the tourists can book 1 PAX without a surcharge.
• Private transfer to the starting point is available for an extra charge. In case of a maximum of three people they can book a Car/Limo, and for a group maximum of 8 people, they can opt for a minivan.

Cancellation Policy

• No Cancellation fee will be charged in case the guests cancel before 72 hours of departure.
• Canceling 48 - 24 hrs before departure will be charged 50% of the fees.
• 100% cancellation will be charged in case of No Show or cancelation under 24 hrs.
