On this exceptional tour, you will get to explore the captivating province of Lamphun, which is considered to be one of the oldest cities in Thailand.  The Lamphun province, also the first Lanna Kingdom, is filled with astonishing sights and tourists location that makes it well worth a visit to the country. It has a rich cultural background and great history that is worth knowing about! 

This tour will take you through lunch green fields, strikingly beautiful temples, fragrant fruit orchards, and small villages. You will get to witness the daily life of the villagers and the magnificent landscape. This tour is perfect for anyone who knows how to ride a bicycle and is in good health.

How to reach?

The Recreational Biking Chiang Mai is located south of the old city of Chiang Mai. The cheapest and easiest way to reach the starting point is to book a taxi and directly go to the location.

• Please note that this is a two-day and one-night tour where you will tour around Lamphun on a bicycle.
• This is a private tour, therefore, the timings of the tour are up to the tourists to decide.
• The maximum limit for this tour is 14 therefore no more than 14 people can be a part of this tour.
• An option of private transfer is available for those who are interested.

Itinerary

Day 1

• Gather at the starting point: Baan Nai Fun 1 in Pa-Dead.
• After the tour officially begins you will be taken southward following the Ping River. 
• Pass through the peaceful roads and small villages to reach the Dvaravati-styled chedis in Lamphun.
• These historic chedis can be dated back to 1000 years, one of the main reasons behind their popularity is the fact that they are supposed to contain the relics of Queen Cham-Devi.
• The next stop Haripunchai Museum - here you will get to learn about the deep history of Lamphun province.
• Get prepared to enjoy a sumptuous Thai meal at a local restaurant.
• Make your way toward a local temple where you will get to watch the old women from the village weaving silk.
• Stop at Wat Harinpunchai, probably the most revered temple in northern Thailand.
• Strike a pose in front of this amazing temple and click some nice pics with your family and friends.
• Ride along the rice fields and fruit orchards to reach the resort to stay overnight.

Day 2

• Start the adventure again by 8:30 AM.
• Take your Bicycle and leave the resort. Meet the friendly villagers and learn about them.
• You will take your cycle through lovely pathways going from one village to another, while also observing the daily activities of the villagers.
• On your way, you will get to see many historic ruins and chedis.
• A visit to the temple with the footprints of the great Lord Buddha is a must!
• Stop at the Family atelier where you will get to see the marvelous collection of more than a thousand porcelain dolls.
• Take a short break to enjoy a nice Thai meal, and then go northwards along the Ping river.
• You will reach a unique village known as Baan Tawai, relax and drink a nice refreshment. Stroll through the village and shop in the lovely handicraft stores.
• Your last stop would be at a local market, where you will get to taste yummy snacks and fruits.
• Make your way back to the meeting point at the end of the tour. 

• Every participant will be charged as an adult/person.

• Since this tour includes a visit to the temples the tourists are requested appropriately.
• This tour includes 25 km of riding.
• Private transfer to the starting point is available for an extra charge. In case of a maximum of three people they can book a Car/Limo, and for a group maximum of 8 people, they can opt for a minivan.

Cancellation Policy

• No Cancellation fee will be charged in case the guests cancel before 72 hours of departure.
• Canceling 48 - 24 hrs before departure will be charged 50% of the fees.
• 100% cancellation will be charged in case of No Show or cancelation under 24 hrs.
