Get away from Thailand's congested hotspots and visit Mae Hong Son on this two-day, one-night hiking excursion. A gorgeous mist-coated landscape in northwest Thailand, surrounded by high mountains that add to the region's charm. Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the lush green Pa Mai Daeng (Red Wood forest region) on foot and embrace the tall trees, which are also the location's distinctive fauna. Meet the residents of Ban Pha Mon, a typical Red Lahu town located 70 kilometers north of Mae Hong Son in the Pang Mapha District.

Operation Timing: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Itinerary:

Day 1:

• Depart from your hotel and drive along the beautiful mountain road.
• Stop at the Pang Mapha viewpoint for the beautiful view of the valley of the mountains. 
• Continue your journey to Pa Mai Daeng (Red Wood forest area) where the trailhead starts.
• Trek for about 4-5 hours on the 1st day from the Ban Wana Luang. 
• During the trek, witness the existing rotational farming area and conservation forest area. 
• Pack lunch provided during your trek.
• Afternoon: Continue the trek along the creeks and take a short break where the fish conservation area is. 
• Take a little break before getting into the village. 
• Then check in to your local homestay relax or take a bath. 
• Dinner is provided at your homestay / free at leisure.

Day 2: 

• The 2nd day is your soft day to experience Red Lahu traditional culture. 
• After your breakfast then take a village walk tour to know about the villagers and their culture.
• After lunch pack up and say goodbye to your host family. 
• Return to Mae Hong Son (about a 2-hour drive).

• Children and adults will be charged on an adult price basis.
