Pack your bags for an unspoiled nature trek in one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Mae Hong Son and explore the highlights of the location including the traditional villages. Start to reach the highest mountain of Doi Pui, the beautiful hidden Huay Tong Koe waterfall, and walk along the beautiful Mae Samat river. Each day trek is about 7-8 hours with an overnight homestay in Karen villages. Interact with the natives of a small Buddhist village, Huay Tong Kaw, and connect yourself with their culture and traditional knowledge.

Operation Timings: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Itinerary:

Day1: 

• Depart from your hotel and drive along the beautiful mountain road stop at the Doi San Fah viewpoint. 
• Continue your journey to Ban Nam Hoo Hai Jai where the trailhead is. 
• Take a short walk and warm up before heading on to the trek of 6-7 hours to Ban Huay Hee
• During the trek, you will witness the existing rotational farming area and conservation forest area. 
• Pack lunch provided during your trek. 
• Then, trek on the beautiful mountain ridge to reach the highest summit of Doi Pui. 
• Afterward, trek to the first village at Ban Huay Hee. 
• Meet your host family, check in your local homestay relax or take a bath.
• Dinner is provided at your homestay / free at leisure.

Day 2: 

• After your breakfast, pack up and say goodbye to your host family. 
• Today we start walking along the gravel road for 1 kilometer.
• 17-18 kilometers along the trail walk to Huay Tong Kaw descend into a river valley and back up into the steep mountains.
• Explore the highlights in the village i.e., the waterfall about 150 meters high.
• After dinner activity is a sword dance at the village center and gets back home to stay for bedtime.

Day 3: 

• Hike down into the valley of Mae Samat River. 
• Visit the biggest waterfall in Mae Hong Son. 
• Explore the region and visit the Baan Lek Nai Pa-Yai. 
• Swim and play the fish hunting game at Huay Kung Village. 
• The last bit of the track is to ascend to where the main gravel road is.
• Enjoy the last 1.5-2 hours hike to the steepest path.

• Children and adults will be charged on an adult price basis.
