Ban Jabo is one of the traditional Black Lahu villages spread over 60 kilometers of the area from Mae Hong Son city to the north. Trek through the limestone mountains area and unleash some of the picturesque locations of the region. Witness teak woods found and a medicinal plantation in the mixed-deciduous forest area and visit the mysterious wood coffin cave. Uncover the 2,000-1,500 years old of wood coffins that remain in good condition and spend quality time with the locals at Ban Jabo village.

Itinerary:

• Depart from your hotel and head towards Ban Huay Kaew Bon.
• The morning trek is about 2.5 hours.
• Trailhead is started from the village and passes through the mixed-deciduous forest area.
• Take lunch and stop at the community pigpen.
• Afternoon: Continue your trek to rotational farming and descend to the rice terrace.
• Take a short break before ascending to the mysterious wood coffin cave.
• Afterward, take a village walk to witness the local way of life.
• At last, return to Mae Hong Son town safely.
